Also known as the Rolling Drum clock, this clock is placed at the top of the sloping base and takes a week to travel down - its position on the slope indicating the day of the week. The dial remains upright telling the hours and minutes as in a normal clock. There is no mainspring, no key and no winder - the clock relying solely on the pull of gravity working against the movement train inside the drum. The clock is made of stainless steel and heavily gilded brass with a mahogany base.
